The Session
Finding Your Family’s Magic custom photography sessions take place in a variety of beautiful outdoor settings in the surrounding areas of Lyons, Longmont, Louisville, and Boulder, Colorado. Generally scheduled two hours prior to sunset, when the light adds a golden glow, these sessions last approximately an hour and a half to ensure there is time for you and your family to relax, forget about the camera, and allow for your family's beautiful, unique, and authentic interactions to to be recorded.
Sessions focus on relaxed family interaction to encourage genuine expressions and natural smiles. During the session, the little ones are the directors, and I take my cues from them to ensure our time together is playful, fun, and stress-free!
Prior to your session, I ask that you fill out a quick questionnaire so I can start getting to know you and your family, which will to help me capture your family’s special magical moments together during our session. I’ll also send along helpful resources so you can feel prepared for our time together.
Preparing Your Portraits
After our session comes the digital darkroom processing where I edit and thoughtfully retouch the images we've created together to show you and your family at their best.
